How to Identify and Remove Sludge Build-Up in Your Aquarium
Is your aquarium covered with an unsightly layer of muddy sludge on plants, gravel, and décor? You might also notice sludge accumulating in the corners of your tank, creating an unhealthy environment for your fish. Don’t worry—here’s how to clean your aquarium and restore its sparkle!
Step 1 – Clean Your Aquarium
Treat your aquarium with Sludge Buster to break down the sludge buildup. Check the correct dosage for your tank size here.
A few days after treatment, use a Gravel Cleaner to thoroughly remove sludge from the substrate. Follow this with a 25% water change, and add Bioactive Tapsafe to your top-up water to keep it safe for your fish.
For ongoing maintenance, use Keep It Clean tablets regularly to prevent sludge from returning.
Step 2 – Support Your Fish’s Health
Monitor your fish closely to ensure they remain healthy and stress-free during the cleaning process.
